This neighbourhood experienced its most significant construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available housing stock is from this time period. This neighbourhood also has quite a good selection of unit sizes - there is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this area. Roughly 80% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 20% are rented.

Daycares are straightforward to access as a pedestrian from any location in Midtown. On the other hand, Midtown does not contain any primary schools or high schools. Regarding eating, it is easy to access the nearest grocery store without a car in this part of Airdrie. Furthermore, a coffee shop is typically a rather short trip away, and residents of Midtown benefit from a few restaurants as well.

Cars are a very good medium of transportation in this part of the city. Nearby highways are moderately easy to access from any home in Midtown, and it is convenient to park.
